ALL THINGS FALL INTO THEIR PROPER PLACE WHEN WE PUT GOD FIRST

ALL THINGS FALL INTO THEIR PROPER PLACE WHEN WE PUT GOD FIRST

(Luke 10:38-42), tells us the story aboutMartha and Mary, sisters who were wellknown to Jesus. In the story, we are told about the timewhen Jesus visited the two sisters in their home. However, unlike Martha who was distracted by all the preparations shethought had to be made and doing thingsthat didn’t necessarily need to be done,Mary chose to take some time out to sitat the feet of Jesus which made Mary askthe question,“Lord, don’t you care that my sister left meto do the work by myself? tell her to helpme.“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered,“you are worried and upset about manythings, but few things are needed or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”Life is about making choices. We need to choose to put God first in our lives andfamily each day. The truth of the matter is, it is not unusualto sometimes allow ourselves to getdistracted by other things in our dailylives instead of putting God first ineverything we do and face in our dailylives, even when circumstances in ourlives seem impossible, insurmountable.God is the only one who can help us toput everything in our lives into perspective.Only God is able to make all other things inour lives fall into their proper place or dropout of our lives when we choose to put Him first in our daily lives, at the centre of everything we do and face. Putting God first not only helps us not to misplace our priorities but also helps usto trust God in everything that concernsus in our daily lives.God is still Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent, All Powerful, All knowing and Present everywhere.God is still Able to do exceedinglyabundantly above all that we ask orthink, according to the power that worksin us, (Ephesians 3:20 NKJV).God Bless
