GOD HAS CALLED US NOT TO FIT IN BUT TO STAND OUT

GOD HAS CALLED US NOT TO FIT IN
BUT TO STAND OUT

Scripture reassures us that God did not
call us to fit in but to stand out in our gifting, in our talents, in our purpose.

It is okay to be different, it is okay to feel
like one does not fit in with society
because the truth is that God did not
create us to fit in but to stand out.

(Ephesians 2:10) says,

For we are God’s masterpiece.

He has created us anew in Christ Jesus
so we can do the good things he planned
for us long ago.

A masterpiece is one of a kind.

Unique, special, one of a kind.

Psalm 139:14 says,

We are fearfully and wonderfully
made.

We are all different, extraordinary in our own unique way, one of a kind creation.

It’s okay to be different.

We were not created to fit in

but to stand out.

To be different like a star and to shine bright

in our gifting,

in our purpose.

THE ENEMY WANTS TO STEAL OUR PEACE AND OUR JOY

THE ENEMY WANTS TO STEAL
OUR PEACE AND OUR JOY

John 10:10 says,

The thief comes only to steal and kill
and destroy.

I came that they may have life

and have it abundantly.

The two things the enemy tries to steal
from us each day is our peace and our
Joy.

Nehemiah 8:10 says,

the joy of the Lord is your strength.

John 14:27 says,

Peace I leave with you;

my peace I give you.

I do not give to you as the world gives.

Do not let your hearts be troubled and
do not be afraid.

It is clear based on Scripture that the
Joy and Peace that God gives is not the
same as the Peace and Joy the world
gives.

The Joy of the Lord is our strength
and the Peace of God surpasses all understanding.

The Joy of the Lord gives us strength
eachday.

Strength to rise above difficult
circumstances and to keep going,

to keep moving forward eachday and
not give up.

God’s peace exceeds anything we can understand,

it guards our hearts and our minds in
Christ Jesus Philippians 4: 7.

Unlike the world, the Peace and Joy
God gives us is not temporary and it
is not dependant on our circumstances.

Rather it is dependant on God who is
our Source.

God wants us to experience His Peace
and His Joy everyday.

No matter what the enemy tries to do
in our everyday lives to steal our Peace
and our Joy using circumstances,

we can with God’s help, through the
Holy Spirit who lives in us keep our
Peace and our Joy regardless of
what is happening in our lives.

Jesus said in John 16:33,

I have told you these things,
so that in me you may have peace.

In this world you will have trouble.
But take heart!

I have overcome the world.”

We can keep our Peace,
We can keep our Joy everyday with
God’s help.

Jesus has Overcome the world.

In Christ,

we have Overcome the world
1 John 5:4-5.

This is the Victory that we have in
Christ.

STAND YOUR GROUND!

STAND YOUR GROUND!

Our struggle according to Ephesians 6:12
is not against flesh and blood

but against the rulers,

against the authorities,

against the powers of this dark world
and against the spiritual forces of evil
in the heavenly realms.

1 Peter 5:8 says,

Stay alert! Watch out for your great
enemy, the devil.

He prowls around like a roaring lion,
looking for someone to devour.

Stand firm against him, and be strong
in your faith.

We all encounter spiritual warfare
in our everyday lives even if we can’t
see it with our physical eyes, in the
natural.

However, knowledge and application
of the truth of God’s word not only
changes the way we view spiritual
warfare but also affects how we
respond to spiritual warfare in our
daily lives.

The word stand is mentioned four times
in Ephesians 6:11-14 for a reason.

The apostle Paul tells us to stand not
to fight because it is God who fights
our battles, 2 Chronicles 20:15,
Exodus 14:14.

Scripture encourages us to be strong
in the Lord and in his mighty power
and to put on the full armor of God
available to us so that we can take
our stand against the devil’s schemes
Ephesians 6:11.

We stand by standing on God’s word,

on God’s promises for us being
certain that God is not a man, that
He should lie or a son of man, that
He should change His mind.

Does He speak and not act?

Does He promise and not fulfill?
Numbers 23:19.

God is faithful and He will do it
1 Thessolonians 5:24.

Wearing the armor of God in our
everyday lives as Christian warriors
helps us to stand our ground when
the day of evil comes,

and after we have done everything,

to stand.
