GOD IS OUR REFUGE AND OUR STRENGTH

GOD IS OUR REFUGE AND OUR STRENGTH

Psalm 46 says,

God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.

Therefore we will not fear,

though the earth give way and
the mountains fall into the heart
of the sea,

though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their
surging.

There is a river whose streams make
glad the city of God,

the holy place where the Most High
dwells.

God is within her, she will not fall;

God will help her at break of day.

Nations are in uproar, kingdoms
fall;

he lifts his voice,

the earth melts.

The Lord Almighty is with us;

the God of Jacob is our fortress.

He breaks the bow and shatters the
spear;

he burns the shields with fire.

He says,

“Be still, and know that I am God;

I will be exalted among the nations,

I will be exalted in the earth.”

The Lord Almighty is with us;

the God of Jacob is our fortress.

Psalm 46 is not only a promise but
also an assurance of God’s protection
and presence in times of trouble.

God is always present even if we don’t
feel His presence.

God is our Refuge and our Strength

an ever present help in trouble.

Even during these challenging times,

Scripture reassures us that we can
have confidence in God in all situations,
in all circumstances because of who
God is.

Therefore we will not fear.

For God has not given us a spirit of
fear,

but of power and of love and of a
sound mind, (2 Timothy 1:7).

Philippians 4:6-7,

encourages us not to be anxious
about anything but in everything,

by prayer and petition,

with thanksgiving,

to present our requests to God.

And the peace of God,

which surpasses all understanding,

will guard our hearts and our minds
in Christ Jesus.

God Bless
